| Janmashtami celebrations in Canada are enjoyed through varied devotional and cultural presentations. This North American nation boasts of many Indian communities who celebrate the birth anniversary of Lord Krishna with lot of zest and gusto. All the Indians visit the Radha-Krishna temples in Canada and perform Janmashtami pooja. In fact, chanting of ‘shlokas' and hymns are the daylong custom. Besides, people also observe fast on this day. They eat only after the midnight puja in the ‘mandirs' are complete. There are some families who observe Janmashtami at home in a grand way.
