Nepali women chant the names of the God like Hare Krishna, Gopal Gopal or Narayan Narayan. Some of them also tune in some ancient hymns and ‘shlokas' to offer prayers to Him. They perform Janmashtami pooja and perform aarti. Some other Nepali Brahmins offer ‘prasada' or delicious food to God. Then they distribute this food among all present there. |
