The celebrations of Raksha Bandhan in Delhi start with the brothers and sisters getting ready for the Rakhi puja. Both of them keep a fast till the sister ties a rakhi on the brother's wrist. Before tying the rakhi, the sisters apply the red tilak on the brother's forehead and even performs an aarti for the brother. Afterwards the sister offers some tempting sweets to the brother, who in return showers some exquisite rakhi gifts upon the sister. |
